Before you start adding a new domain that will use a second-level domain name, like\u00a0example.com<\/strong>, be sure to register this domain name. You can\u00a0register the new domain.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

To host a new website with an addon domain name in DirectAdmin:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

  1. Login to DirectAdmin<\/a>\u00a0using current username and password.<\/li>\n
  2. Once you are logged into your DirectAdmin account, select \u201c Domain Setup<\/strong>\u201d under the \u201cAccount Manager<\/strong>\u201d section.

  3. Next, you will need to click on “ADD NEW”<\/strong> for Add new addon Domain:

  4. Next, you will need to fill out the details of the\u00a0 addon domain:<\/li>\n
  5. Bandwidth :- It is an option to set the data transfer Bandwidth limits on your domain.<\/li>\n
  6. Disk Usage :- It is an option where you can set a limit on the domain\u2019s disk storage . ( Note: You can tick on Same as Main account\u00a0to automatically set the\u00a0Bandwidth\u00a0and\u00a0Disk Usage same as main domain account )<\/li>\n
  7. Options :-\u00a0 Here, you can choose to grant your new domain secure SSL,\u00a0CGI Access\u00a0and\/or\u00a0PHP Access. Just tick the box beside the option you want to assign to your new domain and\u00a0 click on CREATE<\/strong>\u00a0button.
