What is Two-Factor Authentication?<\/h2>\n

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your WebSupporters client account.
Instead of logging in with only your password, you\u2019ll also need a code generated on your mobile device<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Even if someone steals your password, they can\u2019t access your account<\/strong> without that code \u2014 keeping your hosting services and data safe.<\/p>\n

Why We Enabled 2FA for All Clients<\/h2>\n

Cyberattacks and phishing attempts are becoming more common. To protect your domains, hosting accounts, and billing details, we\u2019ve made 2FA mandatory for all clients<\/strong>.
This ensures only you<\/strong> can access your account \u2014 even if your password is compromised.<\/p>\n

How to Set Up Two-Factor Authentication<\/h2>\n

    Login<\/strong> to your Members<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0Area<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Go to Hello, [Your Name] \u2192 Security Settings<\/strong> or visit:
    https:\/\/www.websupporters.com\/members\/clientarea.php?action=security<\/code><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    Under Two-Factor Authentication<\/strong>, click Activate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    A QR code will appear on your screen.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  5. \n

    Open your authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator<\/strong>, Authy<\/strong>, or Microsoft Authenticator<\/strong>) on your phone.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  6. WebSupporters Highly recommended Google Authenticator<\/strong> (Android\/iOS) APP<\/li>\n

    Tap the +<\/strong> icon in your app and scan the QR code<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  8. \n

    The app will show a 6-digit code<\/strong> that changes every 30 seconds.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  9. \n

    Enter that code in the Members area setup box and click Verify Code<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  10. \n

    2FA setup is complete!<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    How It Works When You Log In<\/h2>\n

      Enter your email<\/strong> and password<\/strong> as usual.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    2. \n

      You\u2019ll be asked to enter a 6-digit code<\/strong> from your authenticator app.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    3. \n

      Open the app, find your code, and enter it in Members area.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    4. \n

      You\u2019ll be logged in securely.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Lost Your Phone or Can\u2019t Access the App?<\/h2>\n

      If you can\u2019t access your authenticator app:<\/p>\n

        Contact our support team<\/strong> immediately.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        We\u2019ll verify your identity and temporarily disable 2FA<\/strong> so you can log in again.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
